Tips for documenting your sources

Keeping Track of Your Research

As you research, it's a good idea to organize your sources so you don't lose track of them. Citing them will be much simpler if you have all the publication information compiled in one place. 

Here is a sample chart that you can adapt to track your own sources for your research project. You might also want to add notes about the main argument(s) of each source so you can easily see where their ideas will fit within your own paper.
