The JFK Library received a grant for a collection of 25 books, three documentary films, and a one-year subscription to the Oxford Islamic Studies Online. The JFK Library will have these titles on display throughout the month of March on the Main Level.

For more information about the collection, as well as resources you can use to enhance discussion of the themes surrounding the texts, see http://www.programminglibrarian.org/muslimjourneys.html.

The Bridging Cultures Bookshelf: Muslim Journeys is a project of the National Endowment for the Humanities, in cooperation with the American Library Association, the Ali Viral Ak Center for Global Islamic Studies at George Mason University, Oxford University Press and Twin Cities Public Television.
