Library Services - Library Account, InterLibrary Loan (ILL) Account, and Equipment Checkout
- My Library Account LoginYou log in your Library Account using your username and password (SSO). Use your library account to review what books or library items you have checked out and the due dates. Also, you can renew the library books loaned to you in your Library Account.
- My Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Account LoginLibrary provides two services (Interlibrary Loan (ILL) and Summit) through which you can borrow materials that are not available at EWU. You log in your ILL Account using your username and password (SSO) to submit your ILL requests. Interlibrary loan takes up to 5 days for articles and up to 7-10 days for books.

- EWU Library CatalogThe EWU Library Catalog gives you access to search for books, eBooks, videos, and other physical resources available at the EWU Libraries and Summit Libraries. Summit is a partnership of academic libraries in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. Sign in for request options. Also, find journal articles from selected EWU Libraries databases and open access content. Finally, finds course reserves materials that your professor placed on reserve for your class. Search by course name, course number, instructor, as well by item title, author, or keyword.

Journal Search -- Alphabetical list of the journals, magazines and newspapers we have online in our databases, and/or we have at least a few issues in print or microfilm.
If we do not have the periodical you are looking for, you may request specific articles via Interlibrary Loan.

- Education Research Complete (EBSCOhost) This link opens in a new windowJournals and magazines along with books and conference papers. Coverage dates vary, but a few titles go back to 1975.
- JSTOR This link opens in a new windowBack files of core scholarly journals in the arts, business, humanities, sciences, and social sciences, from the first issue up to 3-5 years ago.
- PsycInfo - APA (EBSCOhost) -- 1806-present This link opens in a new windowA large and comprehensive index of peer-reviewed psychology journals, plus selected book chapters, books, and dissertations, in some cases back to the 1800's. Produced by the American Psychological Association.
- SocINDEX with Full Text (EBSCOhost) This link opens in a new windowDatabase for sociology, with solid coverage for social work, social psychology, addictions, and criminal justice issues. Full text for journals dating back as far as 1908, with selective text and abstracts for others going back as far as 1895, plus numerous books, conference papers, and other monographs.

- Business Source Complete (EBSCOhost) This link opens in a new windowArticles from periodicals (including peer-reviewed journals) on all aspects of business. Contains books, plus reports, papers and company profiles. Selected titles go back as far as 1886, but most begin in the 1990s.
- Communication & Mass Media Complete (EBSCOhost) This link opens in a new windowScholarly articles, trade publications and more in the fields of communications, mass media and related subjects. Selected core titles are indexed back to the first issue.
- Health/Medicine Databases: CINAHL, MEDLINE & Health Sources (EBSCOhost) This link opens in a new windowSearch four health/medicine databases simultaneously: the Cumulative Index to Nursing & Allied Health Literature, MEDLINE, Health Source Consumer and Health Source Academic.
- ScienceDirect This link opens in a new windowArticles from journals that are mainly medical or scientific and indexing for additional journals. Most of the journals are published by Elsevier, but includes titles from 15 other scientific publishers as well.
- Scopus This link opens in a new windowIndexes articles and analyzes citations from 20,000+ journals in the sciences and social sciences back to 1970, though some are as far back as 1788. Search this database in lieu of Web of Science.

Use Google Scholar to search for scholarly articles across the Web (this can be a good complement to subscription databases). Note the citation tracking feature. This link includes Eastern Washington University indicators. You will see "Find it @ EWU" in your results, if we have the article full text in one of our databases.
