          • d. Illustrations.           • e. Photography. For works on photography containing reproductions of photographs where the focus is on their photographic aspect, assign headings of the type Photography; Photography, Artistic; Nature photography; Photography of food. See H 1255 for instructions on artistic photography.
          • f. Scientific and technical atlases. For scientific or technical works consisting of comprehensive, often systematically arranged, collections of illustrative plates, charts, etc., usually with explanatory captions, use the subdivision BAtlases under topics, for example, Human anatomy–Atlases.
      • These are items that are image-dense, but the type of image is not specified in the description; could be photographs OR drawings OR both.

    • Illustrations” form subdivision: “Use as a form subdivision under individual works (author-title or title entries), uniform titles of sacred works, and individual literatures, literary forms, and types of published materials for collections of pictorial representations of those works. Also use under names of individual persons for collections of pictorial representations of the person's written works.”
