All of our databases may be accessed from any computer connected to the Internet using your EWU Single Sign-On (SSO) credentials. When you click on the link for one of our electronic resources, an EWU SSO log-in screen will appear. Follow these steps to log-in:

When you are searching in one of our databases and the article isn't available full text right there, look for the hyperlinked icon that says Check for Full Text. A new screen will open up in our catalog giving you these options:
*Note: Sometimes if the article is available from a journal vendor, then the link may not bring you directly to the full text of the article. Instead, it will drop you on the top page of the journal's home page and you have to find the article using the citation information (volume, issue & page number) or by date.

What are reserve materials? Items selected by your instructors can be placed "on reserve” in the library. Most reserve materials are items placed in the Library by instructors for students to use for specific courses, such as supplemental texts or sample exams
Where are they located? At the circulation desk in the North Seattle College (NSC) library. Reserve items must be checked out and returned to the circulation desk
How can I look up the reserve materials for my class? Search here for course reserve titles
How do I check out reserve materials? Come to the NSC Circulation Desk with your student ID.
How long can I keep reserve materials? Checkout periods may be 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours, 1 day, 3 days or 1 week. Your instructor decides how long you can keep it.
