Search Hints for Books

Want to browse the books we have about films and filmmaking? See JFK Upper Level PN 1992 - PN 1999.

The library catalog subject heading for books about film is motion picture -- [particular aspect] or motion pictures -- [particular aspect]. Therefore, I would suggest keyword searching "motion picture*" and [your issue].

  • Screenwriting is Motion Picture Authorship
  • Editing is Motion Pictures Editing
  • However, cinematography is just cinematography [particular aspect].
