If you do a subject search in the EWU Libraries Catalog using the following phrases, then you will be able to browse all of the journals the we have access:

Find a Journal, Magazine, or Newspaper
Journal Search -- Alphabetical list of the journals, magazines and newspapers we have online in our databases, and/or we have at least a few issues in print or microfilm.
If we do not have the periodical you are looking for, you may request specific articles via Interlibrary Loan.
Access Databases from Off-Campus
All of our databases may be accessed from any computer connected to the Internet, with your NetID username and password. This username/password is the same one that you use to log into campus computers, the wireless network, NetStorage,etc.
- For students, your username is the first letter of your first name, your last name, and the last 2 digits of your EagleCard number.
- For faculty/staff, your username and password are the same ones you use to access EWU email.

- ATLA Religion DatabaseThe ATLA Religion Database is a collection of major religion and theology journals selected by some of the major religion scholars in the United States. Coverage of this database dates back to 1949.

- MLA International Bibliography (EBSCOhost) -- 1923-present This link opens in a new windowComprehensive database for literature and languages, plus folklore, drama and rhetoric. Indexes over 5,000 journals, plus books and dissertations.
- Philosopher's Index with Full Text (EBSCOhost) -- 1940-present This link opens in a new windowComprehensive database for philosophy, indexing journals, books and anthologies going back as far as 1940.

- Dissertations & Theses A&I (ProQuest) This link opens in a new windowDoctoral dissertations and master's theses back to 1743. Most of the recent (1997-present) records include a 24 page preview. Also includes full text dissertations.
Online Classics Journals (some with full-text)
- Arion: A Journal of Humanities and the ClassicsFrom Boston University, some of the articles in the journal are freely available full-text to the public.
- Bryn Mawr Classical ReviewA free online publication made available from the University of Pennsylvania. It contains reviews of books and electronic resources in classical studies. Coverage dates back to 1990.
- DiogenesA peer-reviewed journal of the International Council for Philosophy and Humanistic Studies.
- Leeds International Classical StudiesA peer reviewed journal containing articles and discussion papers pertaining to ancient Greece and Rome. Free online access is available and coverage ranges from 1990-2009.
