EWU in the High School: History Classes

Access EWU's Electronic Resources from Off-Campus

All of our databases may be accessed from any computer connected to the Internet.  There are two methods to logging in for College in the High School classes.

Method #1:

Your teacher can work with us to create a generic username & password for your whole class so you'll be able to access to our databases.  Once you have that log-in information, then simply click on one of the database links on this page and you'll get a log-in screen that you see below.  Be sure to click on the Community Cardholders Login (not the EWU SSO) to log-in.  Note: If multiple students try to log-in at the same time and get it wrong, then you will be locked out of that account for 15 min.  After that time, you can try again.

Method #2:

For the quarter in which they are registered, students can log-in to EWU’s electronic resources using their single sign-on credentials. But first each student must activate their account.  Follow these steps:

  • Go  to accounts.ewu.edu & click on the Activate Account button (see pic below)
  • Enter the required information (sent to you by Admissions)
  • Create a password.

If you have trouble activating your account, then contact the OIT Help Desk 509-359-2247.

Once you've created your Single-Sign On account, then click on the EWU SSO Login and enter your information.  You should be all set to access our electronic resources.
