Statistics - National
The federal government does not have a Department of Statistics. Instead it's decentralized to each agency. (Other countries do in fact have a Ministry of Statistics.)
- Already have a good idea which federal agency would collect your data? Then just google the name of the agency.
- If you don't, then try USA.gov, which is the homepage for the federal government. Use their search box and do a keyword search, then note which agencies come up most frequently.
