Restrictions During the COVID-19 Pandemic

The JFK Library is open for Lobby Services. Service hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. 
Onsite services include:

  • Pick up library materials (e.g., books and DVDs) by appointment: The ordering of physical materials from EWU, Summit & ILL [https://research.ewu.edu/ill] have resumed.
  • Pick up student tech fee equipment (laptops, etc.) by appointment.
  • Return materials and equipment
  • JFK Study Hall: study space available Monday-Thurs. 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. Friday.*Library services end at 5 p.m.
  • Scanning and Wepa printing
  • Thomas Hammer coffee shop is open for to-go orders Service hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Access Electronic Resources from Off-Campus

All of our databases may be accessed from any computer connected to the Internet, with your NetID username and password. This username/password is the same one that you use to log into campus computers, the wireless network, NetStorage,etc.

  • For students, your username is the first letter of your first name, your last name, and the last 2 digits of your EagleCard number.
  • For faculty/staff, your username and password are the same ones you use to access EWU email.
