How to Access the Library's Electronic Resources from Off-Campus

All of our databases may be accessed from any computer connected to the Internet using your EWU Single Sign-On (SSO) credentials. When you click on the link for one of our electronic resources, an EWU SSO log-in screen will appear.  Follow these steps to log-in:

  • Click on the red EWU SSO Login button.
  • Enter your username (your EWU email address).
  • Enter the password you created.

Having trouble accessing your Single Sign-On Account?

  • If you forgot your username or password, then you can go to accounts.ewu.edu to reset them.  If you haven't set up your account yet (a new student or employee), then go to accounts.ewu.edu and click on Activate Account to create your password.
  • Are you still having trouble with your SSO login?  Contact the IT Help Desk at (509) 359-2247.

Are You an EWU in the High School Student & Need to Login to Our Databses?

Your teacher can work with us to create a generic username & password for your whole class so you'll be able to access to our databases.  Once you have that log-in information, then simply click on one of the database links on this page and you'll get a log-in screen that you see below.  Be sure to click on the Community Cardholders Login (not the EWU SSO) to log-in.  Note: If multiple students try to log-in at the same time and get it wrong, then you will be locked out of that account for 15 min.  After that time, you can try again.
