Help Requesting Physical Materials (books, etc.)

Getting books and other physical materials will depend on your location.  Here are some basic tips:

  • Check with the academic library on the campus where your program is located.  They may let you borrow their materials using either your EWU ID or issue you a card for their library.
  • If you are near a university library that is a Summit location, then you can be "adopted" by that library and be able to receive Summit books at that local library.
  • You can do an InterLibrary Loan (ILL) request for the book or other item.  Be sure to indicate that you are a distance education student and make sure your address is correct before submitting the request.  You can go to this page read their criteria for distance education students.
