Access Databases from Off-Campus

All of our databases may be accessed from any computer connected to the Internet, with your NetID username and password. This username/password is the same one that you use to log into campus computers, the wireless network, NetStorage,etc.

  • For students, your username is the first letter of your first name, your last name, and the last 2 digits of your EagleCard number.
  • For faculty/staff, your username and password are the same ones you use to access EWU email.

Current Newspapers (U.S. & Internationsl)

Coverage of Older Newspapers

To find older newspapers, use the Find Journals/Newspapers links (on the left side of this page) search the EWU Libraries catalog by the title of the newspaper.  The catalog will tell you everywhere we own that newspaper, whether in print, electronically (with links) or in Microfilm.  If the latter, then you can use our microfilm/microfiche reader/printers in the lower level of the JFK Library to do your research.  Ask for help at the reference desk if you need it.
