Get a Poster Printed?

Going to a conference & need to get a poster printed?  No problem!  The MultiMedia Commons can do it for you.  See the MMC's Website or call them [509-359-4875] to get more information.

Work with the Library when Creating a New Course?

If you plan on creating a new course, be sure to work with your library liaison to be sure the library has (or will be able to order) the materials needed to properly support the course.

Make a Suggestion?

Do you have a suggestion, compliment or concern that you'd like to share with the library?  Please submit your feedback to our online form.

Obtain a Proxy Card for my Graduate Assistant?

You may authorize a research assistant to check out materials on your behalf. Contact the Circulation Department (509-359-7888) for more information.

Take Out Periodicals from the Library?

Normally our periodicals do not checkout.  However, faculty may check out periodicals for 3 days (no renewals). You may want to take advantage of our free scanners in the JFK Library (located in the hallway behind Thomas Hammer) if you just need to scan an article.

How Do I Renew Books?

You can renew library materials online through the library catalog.  Follow these steps to do so.

  • From the library homepage, click on the Account Log-In link in the top, right hand side of the page.
  • If you're already in the library catalog, then click on the Sign In link in the top, right hand side of the page.
  • Once you've logged in using your Single Sign-On credentials, then you'll see your name appear in the top, right hand side.
  • Under the pulldown menu for your name, select the My Loans option.
  • Eligible items you have checked out can be renewed on the My Loans page.
  • Wait until a few days before the books are due to renew them in order to get the most time out of your renewal.

Borrow Materials?

For most EWU book materials, faculty can keep items for 90 days and can renew them twice (90 days each time).  For more information, see the Borrowing & Loan Periods section of our circulation policies.  Summit items checkout for 12 weeks with one 6-week renewal.  InterLibrary Loan items checkout for different lengths of time (set by the lending institution).
